    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Allow to dry between painting steps.

    1. Use a 3/4” flat brush to paint the edges of the canvas Peony Pink. Rinse brush.
    2. Tear off fairly large pieces from each scrapbook paper.
    3. Use a 3/4” flat brush to coat the entire canvas with Americana Matte Decou-Page. Do not rinse brush.
    4. Place one scrapbook paper piece at a time onto the canvas and brush Decou-Page over the paper, starting from the center out and going all around. Repeat with all the paper pieces, placing them randomly on the canvas.
    5. Tear off pieces of the pink tissue paper and add them randomly to the canvas with Decou-Page.
    6. Add the print-outs of the stamp and Eiffel Tower to the canvas with Decou-Page. Let the entire canvas dry completely.
    7. Place the Bon Voyage Stencil on the canvas so that “PARIS” is on the diagonal at the bottom right corner.
    8. Dip the end of a cosmetic sponge in Wisteria. Wipe off the excess paint onto the palette or plastic plate before sponging it onto the surface. Dab the sponge until all of "PARIS" is filled. (Apply paint here as light or dark as you like.)
    9. Use a #6 flat brush on its side to make Peony Pink shadows behind “PARIS”.
    10. Use a fleur de lis foam stamp dipped in Emperor’s Gold to randomly stamp all over the canvas.
    11. Press the bicycle rubber stamp onto the inkpad and stamp once on the bottom of the canvas. (See photo for placement.)
    12. Use a 3/4” flat brush and Raw Umber thinned with water (add more water than paint) to add random age stains to the canvas. Rinse brush.
    13. Cut out the flower print-out and, using a 3/4" flat brush, decoupage it onto the canvas. (Refer to photo for placement.)
    14. Use a #6 flat brush with Peony Pink thinned with a little water to splatter all over the canvas.
