• wooden crate

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Remove the top two slats from the crate front. (Save for another project.) Sand the rough edges of the crate and remove dust with a clean cloth.

2. Use a 1" flat brush to paint the crate bottom and bottom slats Purple Pizzazz; the second slat Magenta; the third Wild Orchid; and the top slat Lilac Meadow.

3. Using the same colors as STEP TWO, paint the sides in the same order, blending each color into the next while wet.

4. Both sides should match the slats.

5. Use the same brush to paint the wooden doll heads in Lavender.

6. Knob feet position: Use a ruler to measure 3" in from sides at each corner and mark with a chalk pencil.

7. Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint the crown frame with Ultra Black Basecoat.

8. Use a fan brush to apply Gold Shimmer over the Ultra Black Basecoat.

9. Position and adhere jewels on crown. Use a round brush to paint the hearts Lamp Black and personalize with Lavender. Insert fur baby photo.

10. Assembly: Using chalk marks as a guide, pre-drill holes then use screws to attach the doll head knob feet. Position and adhere the frame. Insert a small pillow or dog/cat bed.
