INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Cut two of each fabric. White (23"x38"), black (10" x 38"), and dusty blue (63" x 38"). This will create two 96"x 38" completed panels. Set the black and blue piece aside and lay the first white piece flat.
- Line up the stencil. Using a stencil brush, apply Black Tie. Be careful not to move the stencil or fabric while painting.
- Continue stenciling until the entire piece is stenciled. Allow the paint to dry before painting each new section.
- Be sure to continue the stencil all the way to the edge. A 1/2" from the edge is okay as it will be hidden in the seams. Repeat process for other white panel. Allow paint to dry completely before sewing.
- Once dried, sew the right sides togther with a 1/2" inseam.
- Iron the seams open. Lay a scrap of fabric on top of the stenciling portion.
- Trim off any extra fabric so your have a straight edge on all four sides.
- Fold over the top edge as well as all side edges 1/2" and iron.
- Sew the 1/2" down (use just under a 1/2" in inseam) to form a finished edge on the top and sides.
- Fold 2" on the bottom of the curtain. Iron in place and sew. This will create the hem.
- Attach curtain hooks. If needed, iron curtains before hanging.
