Rad Dad Mouse Pad

Spell out Dad's awesomeness on a mouse pad with Crafter's Acrylic®.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- stylus or pencil
- scissors
- ruler
- black ultra-fine felt tip pen
- tracing & transfer paper
- cork
- paintbrushes
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Cut a 9" square out of a cork sheet or roll. (If using a roll, wet down the corkboard with water and flatten out overnight with a heavy book.)
- Paint the entire mouse pad in Spa Blue.
- Print the provided pattern to size and use tracing & transfer paper to transfer the image to the mouse pad.
- Fill in the blocks of color using the general pattern, moving from block to block: Wild Green, Pure Pumpkin, Teal Blue, Christmas Red, Dark Turquoise, Sun Yellow, Poppy Orange, Ocean Green. (See photo.)
- Using Light Antique White, paint in the paper airplane shapes and the swirls.
- Outline the paper airplanes and swirls with a fine liner ink pen. (Refer to pattern.) Let dry. Once dry, seal the entire mouse pad in DuraClear Ultra-Matte Varnish so that it will last for years to come.
