Create this "up-and-at-'em" reminder with Value Kraft Stencils.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• sandpaper
• 12" x 12" basswood canvas
• paintbrushes

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Lightly sand the surface of the wooden canvas.

2. Paint the frame in Snow White and the background of the canvas in Shoreline. Paint the clouds in Snow White and highlight with Golden Yellow.

3. Place the "Rise" portion of the "Rise and Shine" stencil in the upper left hand corner of the canvas. (See photo for placement.) Use a stencil brush and Crisp Blue to paint the word. Place the "and Shine" stencil in the opposite corner about 1" lower than "Rise." Repeat the steps above to paint it onto the canvas. Add highlights in Snow White and Golden Yellow.

4. Using a stencil brush and the sun portion of the stencil, add the sun to the bottom center of the canvas with Golden Yellow. (See photo for placement.) Accent in True Red. Glitter with Gold Shooting Star, Red Nebula, and Solar Flare Orange.
