    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Make sure the stone is clean. Wipe surface with rubbing alcohol on a paper towel and let dry. Paint a base coat all over the rocks in Dark Chocolate and Deep Midnight Blue. Let the coat dry.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Using the round brush, paint a few 3/4" circles on the rocks. Leave space between circles so you can add flower petals.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Paint petals around each circle with a round brush. Paint from the petal tip toward the center. Use different colors for each flower.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Accent the flower center with smaller circles. All the colors in this assortment work wonderfully together. Be bold - have fun!
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Add a second layer of slightly smaller petals, directly on top of the first petals. If you like, you can add petals using a complimentary color palette.(opposite colors on the color wheel) You can also add a touch of Snow White to your original petal color to create a pastel, smaller petal.
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Dot the flower centers with the end of your brush. For equal sized dots, dip handle in paint after making each dot. For descending size dots, apply several dots (each will be smaller that the one before) before dipping your handle in the paint again.
    12. Instruction #6
    13. With your round brush, add leaves in the empty spaces.
    14. Instruction #7
    15. When dry, highlight the leaves with a brush stroke of lighter green.
    16. Instruction #8
    17. Using the liner brush, paint a sweet message on the back of each rock. If you prefer, you can use a Sharpie Marker in place of the liner brush.
    18. Instruction #9
    19. Seal with DuraClear Gloss Varnish. Share this treasure with someone special.
