Bring some fall whimsy along on your next shopping trip with Americana Multi-Surface Acrylics.

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • 3/8" stencil brush
    • brush and stencil cleaner
    • rope-handled tote bag

Allow to dry between painting steps.

Use stencil brush for all stenciling.

Clean stencils and stencil brush after each use with DecoMagic Brush Cleaner.

    1. Remove the rope handles from the bag and set aside.
    2. Place the bag on a work surface. Pull the side and bottom gussets of the bag out and flatten it as much as possible. (Avoid placing stencils along the edge of the bag where inner seams are.)
    3. Place the scroll from the Funky Flowers Stencil on the bag about 1” from edge and apply Cocoa Bean to the stencil.
    4. Place the scroll from the Funky Flowers Stencil so that it slightly overlaps the first scroll and apply Brown Sugar to the stencil.
    5. Continue to place and paint each of the two scrolls along the side and bottom of bag alternating between Cocoa Bean and Brown Sugar.
    6. Place the larger daisy-shaped stencil from Funky Flowers Stencil alongside the scroll and apply Poppy to the stencil. Stencil Poppy-colored flowers in two or three other places.
    7. Place the smaller daisy-shaped stencil in three or four different spots along the scrolls and apply Pink Cadillac to the stencil.
    8. Place the larger daisy-shaped stencil alongside the scrolls and apply Pumpkin Patch to the stencil.
    9. Place the flower stencil from the Botanical Garden Stencil in three or four places and apply Muted Gold.
    10. Place the smallest flower stencil from Latin Inspiration Stencil on top of the larger Pumpkin Patch daisies and apply Paprika.
    11. Place the smallest daisy-shaped stencil on top of the Poppy daisies and apply Paprika.
    12. Let dry completely.
    13. Once dry, replace the bag handles.
