Scandinavian Terra Cotta Dessert Stand

Your holiday dessert will be sitting pretty on this stand with a Scandinavian accent.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- E6000 glue
- pencil
- 3/4" flat brush
- #10 flat brush
- #0 liner brush
- 4" terra cotta rose pot
- terra cotta saucers
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint the outsides of the saucers and the pot rim Geranium Red; the insides of the saucers and the pot sides, Cloud White.
- Trace and transfer the bird pattern onto the pot with a pencil and the tracing and transfer papers.
- Use a #0 liner brush to paint the birds and bow Geranium Red. Use the same brush to paint the mistletoe Mistletoe Green.
- Use a #0 liner brush and Cloud White to loosely paint "x" shapes around each saucer base. Use the handle end of the brush to dot "x" centers.
- Use the handle end of a paintbrush and Cloud White to dot pot rim.
- Use a #10 flat brush and Geranium Red to stripe largest saucer rim.
- Position and glue pots and saucers to create the stand. Refer to photo for placement.
