Sewing Organization

Sewing Organization

Posted by DecoArt on Jan 28th 2014

I actually LOVE to organize. I think I have rearranged and reorganized my linen closet four times this year. (Way to often to find time to blog about it!) Don’t worry, this is such a quick and easy organization project you won’t ever need to redo. It’s now one of my favorite places to stash sewing supplies in my craft room!

Items Needed:

  • Muffin Tin
  • Sewing Supplies
  • Paint Brushes

Instructions:

To get started, wipe your muffin tin down to get rid of any dirt  and dust. Next, with your paintbrush give the entire top portion of the muffin tin a thin coat of paint.

When your first coat of paint is dry, apply a second coat. You may need a third depending on what color of paint you use. Two coats worked perfectly for this project.

When your paint is dry, you are ready to fill your caddy!  The fabulous thing about the Americana multi-surface paint is that you don’t need to add any kind of top-coat or sealant.

The paint alone is super durable!

This is the perfect solution for my sewing supplies. Every time I sew I always have itty-bitty items like pins and bobbins scattered all over my counter. Now I can easily place my necessities for each project close by while I work!
