SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- pencil
- #10 flat brush
- parchment paper
- iron and ironing board
- freezer paper
- craft knife
- napkin
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Use a pencil to draw triangles on the parchment paper (where and how many you want).
- Use a craft knife to cut out all the triangles out of the parchment paper.
- Iron napkins on ironing board to remove any wrinkles. Apply the parchment paper stencil by ironing onto the napkins, shiny side down. (Put a piece of freezer paper underneath the napkins to protect the work space.)
- Use a #10 flat brush to mix (1) part Cadmium Yellow with (1) part True Green. Save mix for next step.
- Use a #10 flat brush and load separately with True Blue, True Green, and mix from the previous step. Paint over the triangles. (See photo.) Do not rinse brush in between.
- Using the same brush, load with White and paint over all the triangles. Rinse brush.
- Remove stencil and let dry completely.
- Once paint has fully cured, the napkins are ready for the table.
