Simple Springtime Centerpiece

Swap out the flowers in this neutral crate painted with Americana Decor® Chalky Finish™ to match any season or occasion.
SUPPLIES
- sandpaper
- flat brush
- cloth
- silk flowers
- toolbox
- floral foam
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let the paint dry fully between each coat.
Use seasonal florals such as tulips as the accent flowers and change them out for a different look each season.
- Lightly sand any rough edges off the toolbox and wipe off with a dry cloth.
- Paint one coat of Lace using a flat brush. Let dry completely. Paint a second coat of Lace if desired for fuller coverage. Let dry completely.
- Lightly distress the corners, edges, and handle of the toolbox with sandpaper.
- Accentuate the distressed areas and seal the paint with one coat of Clear Crème Wax using the waxing brush. Let dry completely.
- Cut and insert floral foam to fit tightly within the toolbox sections.
- Arrange the faux florals starting with the tall grass and large accent flowers, such as the peonies and rose bunches.
- Fill in gaps with accent flowers and any remaining greenery.
