INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Sand the plaque to remove any rough edges. Using a paper towel, remove any sanding dust.
- Using a 3/4" flat brush, paint the entire plaque in Dark Chocolate.
- Load a 2" chip brush with a small amount of Lamp Black. Wipe any excess off on a paper towel. Lightly dry-brush the paint over the plaque, concentrating on the edges. If needed, apply Dark Chocolate back over the Lamp Black to lighten up the surface using the same dry-brushing method.
- Using white transfer paper and a pencil, transfer the lettering pattern onto the plaque.
- Using a #1 round brush, paint in the lettering using Antique White.
- Load the same chip brush separately with Dark Chocolate and Lamp Black. Lightly dry-brush each over the lettering.
- Paint five clothespins in Antique White using a 1/4" flat brush. Let dry. Once dry, dry-brush over each clothespin in Dark Chocolate and Lamp Black separately with a 2" chip brush.
- Apply E6000 Glue to the back of the clothespins. Press onto the plaque (see photo for placement) and allow to dry completely before using.
