    • #10 flat brush
    • #1 liner brush
    • terra cotta pot
    • play sand
    • rock

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Make sure the terra cotta pot is clean and dust free.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Use the #10 flat brush and Boysenberry Pink to paint the terra cotta pot above and below the white band. Rinse brush.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Use the same brush to mix (2) parts Hauser Medium Green with (1) part Turquoise Blue. Use the mix with the same brush to paint on the band. Rinse brush. Save the mix for a future step.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Use the #1 liner brush and Snow White to paint on a swirl. (I followed the indentations that were already there.) Rinse brush.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Use the #10 flat brush and load separately with the mix from Step 3; Foliage Green; Plantation Pine; and Poodleskirt Pink to paint each rock a separate color. Rinse the brush before switching colors and at the end.
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Use the #1 liner brush to mix (1) part Marigold with (1) part Snow White. Use the mix to paint "v" shape needles on the Plantation Pine rock. Rinse brush. Use the same brush to mix (1) part Lemonade with (1) part Snow White. Use the mix to paint short, slanted lines on the Foliage Green rock. Rinse brush.
    12. Use the same brush to mix (2) parts Snow White with (1) part Poodleskirt Pink. Use the mix to paint short, slanted lines for the Poodleskirt Pink rock and to paint four vertical stripes to paint the rock painted with the mix from Step 3. Rinse brush.
    13. Instruction #7
    14. Use the #1 liner brush and Boysenberry Pink to paint short strokes to the top of one side to make a flower. Using the same dirty brush loaded with Poodleskirt Pink to highlight the flower by adding more short strokes on top of the Boysenberry Pink ones. Rinse brush.
    15. Instruction #8
    16. Use the #1 liner brush and Burgundy Wine to paint wavy flower petals to the top of one side of the Plantation Pine-painted rock. Rinse brush. Use the same brush and Antique Gold to fill in the flower middle. Rinse brush.
    17. Instruction #9
    18. Use the handle end of the #1 liner brush dipped in Snow White to add small dots all along the Poodleskirt Pink mix stripes. Wipe off handle end.
    19. Instruction #10
    20. Let pot dry completely. Pour sand of choice into the pot. (I would fill it up to the rim so the rocks show.)
    21. Instruction #11
    22. Place rock cacti in the pot.
