Complete your spring décor on a tray painted with Americana Decor® Chalky Finish™.
SUPPLIES
- scissors
- flat brush
- screwdriver
- wooden frame
- fabric
- handle
- varnish
- E6000 Glue
INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove the backing and the glass from the unfinished wooden frame. Set these items aside for later.
- Use E6000 Glue to glue the handles onto the ends of the frame. Let the adhesive dry completely.
- Paint the entire frame and the handles in Innocence with a flat brush.
- Accent the handle design by filling in part of it with Everlasting. Let dry. Once dry, seal the entire tray with a desired varnish for added durability.
- Cut a piece of remnant fabric to fit the frame. Place the fabric behind the glass of the frame, and re-attach the back of the frame. Use a screwdriver to remove the arm behind the frame so that the tray can sit flatly on the surface.
- Fill the containers with various spring florals, and arrange them on the tray.
