INSTRUCTIONS
- Use a 3/4" flat brush to randomly paint the canvas with Serene and Timeless. Use a #8 round brush to paint random areas with Cerulean Blue and Quinacridone Gold, adding plenty of water and moving the canvas around so the paint will drip.
- Mix (1) part Cerulean Blue with (1) part Quinacridone Gold. Use the mix and the Andy Skinner Incognito Stencil to randomly stencil the canvas with a cosmetic sponge.
- Use a pencil to draw an oval on the Americana Metallic Type Decou-Page Paper and cut it out with scissors. Using a 3/4" flat brush, paint the oval in Quinacridone Gold, adding plenty of water to make it transparent.
- Trace the girl on a separate piece of white paper. Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint her face in Titan Buff. Use a #8 round brush to paint her eyes in Titanium White and Cerulean Blue. Use a #8 round brush to paint her lips in Quinacridone Gold. Trace her dress on a piece of scrapbook paper and cut out. Adhere her in place with a 3/4" flat brush and Matte Medium. (Refer to photo for placement.) Use brown oil pastel to line the eyes and pink oil pastel for the rosy cheeks.
- Paint her hair using a #8 round brush in Cerulean Blue; highlight by adding a bit of Titanium White while the paint is still wet.
- Print the hat and bird images; cut out; and adhere using a 3/4" flat brush and Matte Medium.
- Mix 20% Cerulean Blue with Texture Sand Paste. Use this mix and a palette knife to loosely "frame" the canvas.
