Paint a real or artificial pumpkin with stripes in trendy colors to add a bold statement to your Halloween décor.

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • tracing paper
    • transfer paper
    • #3 round brush
    • artificial or real pumpkin

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Trace the face pattern onto the front of the pumpkin and the zigzag design around the top.
    2. Carve out the face (and cut out a lid if you are using a real pumpkin).
    3. Using a 3/4" flat brush, paint Heritage stripes on alternating sections of pumpkin.
    4. Paint remaining sections with Relic.
    5. Using a #3 round brush, paint dots on the outer corners of the eyes with Everlasting. Use Carbon for the dots by the mouth.
    6. Using Carbon, paint the zigzag pattern on the top of pumpkin.
    7. Paint dots at each zigzag point, alternating between Carbon and Everlasting.
