Striped Summer Table with Storage

Give outdoor décor both color and function with this storage table, summer striped with Americana Deco®r Outdoor Living™.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- paper towels
- sandpaper
- painter's tape
- circle template
- pencil
- large flat brush
- thin, angled paintbrush
- storage table
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Keep a damp paper towel handy to wipe up mistakes.
Take off the painter's tape before the paint dries for cleaner lines.
Allow each stripe to dry fully before doing the next stripe.
- Make sure the surface of the table is clean and smooth. (Sand it, if it is not smooth.)
- With a large flat brush and Morning Glory, paint all surfaces of the storage table except for the front panel. (See photo.)
- Tape off stripes on the front panel, one stripe at a time. Allow each stripe to dry before doing the next stripe. Use a small angle brush to paint along the tape lines and get into grooves. Alternate the stripes using Succulent, Fountain, and Picket Fence.
- Paint designs on the top of the table with same colors as the stripes. (I used small plates to outline the circles in pencil. Then I used a quarter to make a circle in the center. Next I worked my way from the inside out, alternating colors). This may require two coats to get better coverage.
