Dazzle your Valentine with this gift box made with Dazzling Metallics®.

SUPPLIES

• ruler
• pencil
• hot glue gun
• papier mâché cone
• papier mâché box
• Styrofoam ball
• embellishments
• cone bead

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Use a ruler and pencil to draw lines on the box. Paint alternating stripes with Silver. Paint the hat cone Silver as well. Let both dry, then add a second application of paint.

2. Fill in the rest of the lines on the box with Pink Tourmaline. Paint the top of the lid and a cone bead Pink Tourmaline as well. Paint Pink Tourmaline hearts on the hat cone. Let them dry, then add a second layer of paint.

3. Paint the Styrofoam ball with White Pearl. (Optional: Use White Modeling Paste to make cheeks on the ball.)

4. Use Black Pearl to add the eyes and mouth to the Styrofoam ball. Dab Pink Tourmaline onto the cheeks.

5. Use Paper Decou-Page to glue the cone bead onto the ball after pressing it into the foam. Paint the entire head with a thin layer of Decou-Page and sprinkle Crystal Glamour Dust over it.

6. Assemble the box by hot gluing the ball onto the lid. Glue the hat on top. Embellish the piece with trim around the base of the head and a gold heart on top of the hat.
