Teacher's Owl Pencil Organizer

Welcome the new school year with this pencil organizer for a deserving teacher.
SUPPLIES
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- painter's tape
- #8 round brush
- #8 flat brush
- cosmetic sponge
- ivy bowl
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Use a cosmetic sponge to dab on two coats of Yellow Frost on the two ivy bowls.
- Cut the pattern and place it inside one of the bowls. (It will be easily seen through the frost paint.) Use painter's tape to adhere. Use a #8 round brush to outline in Indian Turquoise and a #8 flat brush or cosmetic sponge to fill in. Use a #8 round brush to paint the beak in Bright Orange.
- Use a #8 round brush to outline the eyes and a #8 flat brush to fill in in White. Use a #8 round brush to add details in White (above and around the eyes).
- Use a #8 round brush to paint the eyes in Black. Use a #8 round brush and Indian Turquoise to paint around the eyes and add dots.
- Use a #8 round brush to paint the belly in Black on the second ivy bowl. Use a cosmetic sponge to add two coats of Glass Chalkboard Paint. Use a #8 round brush to paint the feet in Bright Orange.
- Use a #8 flat brush to paint the outer part of the wing in Indian Turquoise. Use a #8 flat brush to paint the inner part of the wing in White. Use a #8 round brush to add details in White.
- Place the head on top of the body.
