"Team Dad" Painted Sports Chair

Make Dad a part of the team by painting him a chair that matches your team's colors.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- ruler
- pencil
- painter's tape
- 3/4" flat brush
- #8 flat brush
- #1 liner brush
- Silhouette electronic cutting machine
- cosmetic sponges
- Con-Tact® paper
- foldable canvas chair
- printed lettering
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
You will need a canvas material folding chair in a color of your choice. Logos are ok; they can be covered with paint.
- Remove all tags from the folding chair.
- Tear the painter's tape into a rectangle shape on the front or back of the chair. Use a ruler to center the rectangle.
- Use a 3/4" flat brush and Lipstick to fill in the entire rectangle until you cover up the logo if any. Rinse brush.
- In a font of your choice, send the words "Team Dad" or "Team Mom" to the Silhouette machine and cut out onto Con-Tact paper.
- Use a cosmetic sponge with Cotton Ball for every other letter; use a new cosmetic sponge with Silver (Metallic) for the rest. Remove the Con-Tact paper.
- Use a #8 flat brush and Black Tie to paint a border around the Lipstick rectangle. Rinse brush.
- Use a #1 liner brush and Black Tie to outline all the letters. Rinse brush.
