The Artist and the Masterpiece Shirts

Paint an origninal artisitic pair of shirts for you and your lil masterpiece
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- cardboard
- #8 round brush
- wax paper or freezer paper
- painter's or masking tape (optional)
- white pencil
- cotton tank or cami top
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry between coats
- Pre-wash and dry shirts (do not use fabric softener). Tape wax paper/freezer paper to cardboard and place inside shirt (to prevent paint from seeping through the back side of the shirt)
- Use a white pencil to draw the designs onto the shirts. "The Masterpiece" on intended child's size and "The Artist" on mom's size.
- Using #8 round pencil paint the letters with two coats of white. Add third coat if needed.
- Using #8 round pencil paint the girl (and the artist on the other shirt) with two coats of white. Add third coat if needed.
- Using #8 round brush paint the inner parts for the letters, hat and bows with one coat of white. (this will give you a base for the next step)
- Using #8 round brush add color by painting the inner part of the areas with two coats of . . Yellow, Orange, Red, Blue and Green (refer to image for placement)
- Let dry 48 hours. Wash on gentle cycle. Hang dry.
