The Chic Decorative Fireplace Update

Old fireplaces can be a real eyesore, but with Americana Decor Satin Enamels, this makeover is budget friendly.
SUPPLIES
- flat brush
- glass cleaner
- scruffy brush
- fireplace
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
This project is for decorative use only. Tape some brown paper down in front of the fireplace for you to sit on to keep your floor protected while you work! If you're worried about your paint getting onto the woodwork, feel free to tape off that area as well
- Clean the fireplace thoroughly. If painting tile, clean it using a window cleaner. If you're painting on brick, you may need to use a specialty cleaner to remove soot. A scrub brush is very helpful for this part.
- Apply two coats of Satin Enamels in the color of your choice and see how quickly your fireplace is becoming beautiful!!
- If desired paint the inside of the fireplace for a completed look. This will be for a fireplace that will only be use for decorative purposes.
