Twin Flowers Sparkly Frame

Frame a photo in pastels, twin flowers, and the added sparkle of Americana® Crystal Glitter Decou-Page.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • scissors
    • 3/4" flat brush
    • #8 round brush
    • craft glue
    • scrapbook paper
    • wooden frame
    • brayer
    • wooden flower cutout

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Using a 3/4" flat brush, paint the frame using these three colors in this order: Lavender Fields, Iris, Sky Blue. Be sure the colors are overlapped/blended.

    3. Randomly drop dots of Cotton Ball throughout the frame and immediately roll them out with a brayer to create a cloudy effect.

    5. Trace the pattern onto scrapbook paper and cut out the stems and leaves. Use craft glue to adhere into place. (Refer to photo for placement.) Use a #8 round brush to paint over the stems and leaves with Americana Crystal Glitter Decou-Page.

    7. Trace the wooden flowers onto scrapbook paper and cut out with scissors. Adhere them together with Crystal Glitter Decou-Page. Add an extra coat of Decou-Page over the top for added sparkle.

    9. Use scissors to cut out the faces (from magazines or use your own photos) to fit inside the flowers. Use craft glue to adhere into place. Use craft glue to adhere the flowers on the frame.
