    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Prep your surface by sanding any rough areas and wiping it clean. Gather all of your supplies such as paint, fabric, and brushes (or sprayer).
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Paint trunk in beige. You can apply the Satin Enamels paints with either a brush or a paint sprayer. This project was painted using a paint sprayer.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Once the paint is dry, cut a piece of plywood and a piece of upholstery foam to fit the top of the trunk. Adhere the foam to the plywood using glue or very strong permanent spray adhesive.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Cut a piece of fabric that is big enough to fit around all four sides of the foam. Using a hand-held staple gun, staple the fabric in place onto the bottom of the plywood.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Apply glue to the top of the trunk; carefully position the new cushion and let dry according to the glue label instructions.
