Turn an old retro clock into a modern decor piece

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• sandpaper
• #2 round brush
• #10 flat brush
• 1" painter's tape

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Wipe down clock with Damp paper towel to get any dust or residue off.
2. Use painter's tape to put around clock face and all parts that will be Primitive.
3. Use a 3/4" Flat brush with Serene to paint center section and feet. Rinse brush.
4. Use a 3/4" Flat with Primitive to paint sides of clock. Rinse brush.
5. Use a #10 Flat with Primitive to paint clock border. Rinse brush.
6. Use #2 Round brush with Primitive to paint clock numbers and hands. Rinse brush. Let completely dry.
7. Use light to medium sandpaper to distress clock.
8. Wipe down with damp paper towel to get sanding dust off.
9. Then use all brushes to seal clock with Ultra Matte Varnish. Rinse brushes.
