Vintage Distressed Clock

Turn an old retro clock into a modern decor piece
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- sandpaper
- #2 round brush
- #10 flat brush
- 1" painter's tape
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Wipe down clock with Damp paper towel to get any dust or residue off.
- Use painter's tape to put around clock face and all parts that will be Primitive.
- Use a 3/4" Flat brush with Serene to paint center section and feet. Rinse brush.
- Use a 3/4" Flat with Primitive to paint sides of clock. Rinse brush.
- Use a #10 Flat with Primitive to paint clock border. Rinse brush.
- Use #2 Round brush with Primitive to paint clock numbers and hands. Rinse brush. Let completely dry.
- Use light to medium sandpaper to distress clock.
- Wipe down with damp paper towel to get sanding dust off.
- Then use all brushes to seal clock with Ultra Matte Varnish. Rinse brushes.
