Update an old suitcase into modern storage with an antiqued vibe with Americana® Decou-Page™ .

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• scissors
• 3/4" flat brush
• assorted scrapbook paper
• suitcase

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Using a 3/4" flat brush, paint the suitcase with two coats of Snow White.

2. Place the suitcase over the striped scrapbook paper and trace the shape with a pencil. Use scissors to cut it out. (Cut it slightly inside the traced lines,) Use a 3/4" flat brush and Antique Decou-Page to adhere the striped paper to the front and back sides of the suitcase.

3. From the travel-themed scrapbook paper, cut small squares and rectangles. Use a 3/4" flat brush and Decou-Page to begin randomly adhering them in place on all sides of the suitcase.

4. Dip the cap from the Burnt Umber bottle into the paint and blot on a paper towel.

5. Randomly place "rings" throughout the case with the bottle cap.
