Stencil food words onto a burlap placemat with Americana® Stencils.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • stylus or pencil
    • tracing paper
    • transfer paper
    • cosmetic sponge
    • #1 round brush
    • burlap placemat

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Use the Whimsical Script stencil to add food words like Eat, Snack, Chow Down, Bite, Chew, Cram, Pig Out, Scarf, Gobble Up, and Munch to the placemat edges. Load a cosmetic sponge with Flamingo to add the word "snack".

    3. Continue adding words alternating these colors: Chick, Flamingo, Eggplant, Turquoise Waters, and Cotton Ball.

    5. Use the handle end of a #1 round brush dipped in Black Tie to make polka dots between the words.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Trace and transfer the silverware pattern or free-hand it. Use the #1 round brush and Black Tie to fill in the silverware. Rinse brush.

    9. Follow the label instructions for drying times before use.
