Winter White Peace Tray

Capture the Spirit of the Holidays with this Dazzling Winter White Peace tray.

SUPPLIES

    • palette or plastic plate
    • pencil
    • liner brush
    • 3/4" flat brush
    • tracing & transfer paper
    • unfinished wooden tray

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Using 3/4 flat brush, paint front and sides of tray with Multi-Purpose Sealer. Let dry. Follow with second coat
    2. Using Snow White, paint two or three coats on tray,with a 3/4 flat brush letting each coat dry before starting next coat.
    3. Trace and transfer peace design onto tray. Add other snowflakes using liner brush along tray as desired.
    4. Paint peace design using liner brush and Grey Sky. Paint second coat if necessary.
    5. Once design is dry, use small bit of Shimmering Silver to add highlights. Follow with bit of Snow White to add more highlights.
    6. Using Indian Turquoise and clean liner brush, paint snowflakes.
    7. Once snowflakes are dry, use small bit of Shimmering Silver to add highlights with liner brush. Use liner brush and follow with bit of Snow White to add more highlights.
    8. Using handle end of liner brush and Shimmering Silver, add small dots around inside surface edge of tray and to ends of snowflakes.
    9. Once tray is dry, seal with two coats of DuraClear Satin Varnish, allowing to dry between coats.
