Winter Wonderland Cookie Exchange Serving Tray

Party on with homemade holiday cookies on a homemade cookie tray using Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics.


    • stylus or pencil
    • transfer paper
    • rubbing alcohol
    • pencil
    • #3 round brush
    • 1" flat brush
    • 1/4" flat brush
    • #5 round brush
    • cosmetic sponge
    • 5/0 liner brush
    • serving tray



    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Clean the metal tray thoroughly using rubbing alcohol.

    3. Paint the tray using a cosmetic sponge and Deep Turquoise until the desired opacity is achieved. (Leave the outside decorative edge the original metal color.) Allow the paint to dry between coats.

    5. Transfer the provided pattern onto the center of the tray using a pencil and the transfer paper.

    7. Using a 5/0 liner brush, paint the lettering in Coastal Waters.

    9. Using a #5 round brush in Cotton Ball, free-hand icicles on the top outside of the tray. Paint in multiple sizes of triangles randomly. Using a 1/4" flat brush, free-hand a hill in the bottom portion of the tray in Cotton Ball.

    11. Using a liner brush, paint the snowflakes in Cotton Ball. (If needed, transfer the snowflake patterns onto the tray.) Using Leprechaun and Inch Worm, paint in the pine trees randomly on the hill with a #3 round brush. (If needed, transfer the trees from the pattern.) Using a liner brush, add Inch Worm linework onto the Leprechaun trees and Leprechaun linework onto the Inch Worm trees. (Refer to photo.)
